The Reiki I course is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions.  The course covers the following:

   2. •The Effects, uses and Contra-Indications to Reiki.
      

   3. •The Human Energy Field - Auras, Chakras & The Meridians.
      

   4. •The Reiki Attunement Process.
      

   5. •The Effects of an Attunement and Cleansing Process.
      

   6. •Gassho Meditation.
      

   7. •The Reiki Attunement.
      

   8. •The Reiki Hand Positions.
      

   9. •Giving a Reiki Treatment for Self & Others.
      

   10. •Kenyoku - Cleansing ones energy.

3. While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. Please commit to one evening a week for several weeks,  to practice Reiki with members of your family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training.
